Both individual therapy sessions and group sessions may be eligible for Medicare rebates.
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, the rebates are:
- $124.50 per individual therapy session (up to 10 sessions per year)
- $31.65 per group session (up to 10 sessions per year)
Medicare rebates will cover a portion, but not all, of the fee for individual and group sessions.
